Our Story

At R+ Studio, design is never just about how a space looks, it’s about how it lives, breathes, and evolves with the people within it. Our journey began with a strong foundation in interior design and construction, shaped through hands-on experience. Working within real constraints taught us something invaluable: great design is not defined by budget, but by how intelligently a space is planned and executed.

As we moved into the world of luxury residential design, we refined our approach, learning to elevate spaces where aesthetics were paramount.

At R+ Studio, we don’t see boundaries, instead we see opportunities for balance between interior and exterior design, where structure and space work in harmony. Today, our work is defined by a deeper sensitivity to detail and the invisible layers that transform a house into a home. These elements, when thoughtfully implemented, create environments that feel effortless, intuitive, and deeply personal.

Team

At the heart of R+ Studio is Rix; a designer driven by curiosity, precision, and a relentless pursuit of better living through design.

With a background in interior design and architectural coordination, Rix brings a rare dual perspective: the ability to think both creatively and technically. His experience spans public housing, luxury interiors, and A&A (Additions & Alterations) projects, giving him a comprehensive understanding of how spaces are built, not just imagined.

What sets Rix apart is his attention to the details most people overlook from how air moves through a room, how light shifts throughout the day, to how spaces transition seamlessly from one to another. Clients are drawn to his ability to interpret their needs intuitively and translate them into bespoke, character-driven homes. But beyond that, they stay for the relationship because for Rix, every project is deeply personal.
